There are sometimes when being a freelancer you have to deal with things which simply are outside the scope of our profession. Point in question, recently I was asked to complete a number of changes to a website at a very low rate. Small changes as we all know are difficult to quote for as well as having the potential to run out of control time wise because when working with an old site (this particular one in a frameset) and someone elses code, who knows what will crop up.
If you anything like me (a non programmer drupal type) the thought of moving a drupal website to another server is enough to fill you with fear. Actually though it turns out to be a bit of a doddle with a little help from those in the know.

Currently in our firm we are looking for a web design assistant, this has had me looking around the web searching for "suitable" questions that do not include things that cause the interviewee to squirm in their chair. Its not as easy as you would think - particularly as you need to find questions that draw out of the interviewee what you really need to know and some of those questions just naturally make people squirm.
Finally Drupal 6 is installed after a few days of going backwards and forwards with the technical guys at my server company http://www.wesh.co.uk.
Downloading and uploading the installer is as you'd expect fairly straightforward, however there are a few little unexpected surprises.
Firstly...
